Tuesday English Class

 Last weekend, I watched soccer game between Barcelona and Real Madrid. They are rivals in Spanish professional soccer league and one of the strongest team in the world for a long time. The game is called "El Clasico". It means the classic in English. The game was very exciting. Surprisingly, Barcelona has two seventeen-year-old players in starting line-up. The result is that Real Madrid won the game. I was too excited to sleep well that night.

 I sometimes read novels to pass the time. Today, I finished reading 「Nanimono」. It is a novel written by Asai Ryo. He won the Naoki prize for this novel. This novel was written about common life of college students. But  I was shocked at last scene. I want to read other novels written by he.

 I watched a game of japan national soccer team last night. The opposition was Cote d'lvoire national soccer team.   The game was very tight. Finally, japan scored in additional time and won. In my private opinion, the defense in japan was consistent but the offense was not good.    Japan have some good young players who are our own generation. I hope they have great success.

 Today I listened to a podcast called "Life Is Tough for Men". They talked about a man and woman who are about to get into the night club in New York.(The One world trade center, Metropolitan museum of Art, Broadway, night clubs, … are famous place in New York.)   The man was gonna score that night. But the woman said "there's no way you're gonna do it while wearing your Buzz Lightyear pajama pants and wearing a shirt with nothing but the word YOLO on it". The man was well known as a The NO1 nard in high school. So a bouncer didn't allow he to get into the night club.
